“Jump Rope for Heart” led by The Heart and Stroke Foundation is an event that encourages kids to get active by skipping rope while collecting pledges for life-saving heart disease and stroke research breakthroughs and education programs. This past year 2022, Faith jumped rope at her school to spread awareness for the cause and raised a total of $350 for the initiative.

Every year in April, the Canadian Cancer Society’s (CCS) Daffodil Campaign unites Canadians to take action for nearly half of Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. In April of 2021, Faith participated in the “Daffodil Campaign'' by raising awareness for the cause on her social media pages and by collecting donations online. As a result, she raised a total of $425 supporting programs and funding for the CCS.

In August 2021, Faith showed her support for her community and those affected by cancer by leading a “Lemonade Treat Awareness Stand Campaign” in the local community and online through her social media channels to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. As a result, Faith raised a total of $655 for the cause. The campaign raised funds for cancer research, programs, advocacy and other areas needed most.

This past March 2022, Faith and Sparkle’s World participated as “virtual vendors” in the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment event titled, “Black Legacy'' in celebration of Black History Month. The event brought together young women and girls in the community while celebrating several local small Black-owned businesses with art, music, drama and fun. During the event, Faith had the opportunity to share the story of “Superhero Faith” while connecting with her community.

Faith alongside her mother, Delisa had the opportunity to facilitate a creative workshop titled, “Going Beyond Writing '' during the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment March Break Camp in 2022. During this workshop, Faith and Delisa taught young girls several ways to express their creative freedom by leading exercises in art, drama and spoken word. Faith continues to support the Centre, by raising funds for the charity and participating in several programs and events each year.

In September of 2021, Faith and Sparkle hosted an online “Pet Adoption Awareness Campaign” on social media to raise awareness for pet adoption and animals in need. This initiative was inspired by Faith’s love and passion for animals and Sparkle’s adoption story. In April, 2022 Faith and her Mummy, Delisa had the great opportunity to partner with Tomato King to donate food items and supplies to support the Jean Augustine Centre, a non-profit organization that empowers young women and girls across Canada. Tomato King is a top wholesale produce distributor in Toronto that is devoted to distributing fresh fruits and vegetables grown locally and around the globe.

On October 23rd, 2022, Faith and Sparkle's World sponsored and participated in a fundraising event with a local Daycare/Preschool, New Toronto Cooperative Nursery School: Learning on the Lake

On December 25th, the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada held the 43rd Holiday Season Celebration at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel and welcomed over 120 families with children and youth involved in child welfare. The event included bouncy castles, pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, arts and crafts, therapy dog visits, face painting and manicures, a buffet and of course the gifting, where children and youth were able to select their own age-appropriate gift to take home. In the Gifting Suite is where Dr. Faith and Superhero Faith books were laid out for children. Thank you for generously donating the books.
