Superheroes Edition (Series 2)
There are many qualities that make a superhero and this special superhero demonstrates just what it means to be one.
A great superhero is one who displays qualities of courage, bravery, kindness, love, compassion, leadership and integrity. But being a superhero is not always easy!
Meet Grammie
Marise and Faith shared a very close bond. Also referred to as “Grammie,” she knew Faith as a baby.
Grammie adored Faith and enjoyed spending time with her. In fact, Grammie was the first person to cornrow Faith's hair when she was a baby and she even introduced Faith to the piano. Grammie also designed and sewed clothes for Faith. They made time to see each other and expressed love for one another.
In January 2022, Faith was determined to see Grammie. She knocked on her door and left her a message in hopes to get in touch with her. Unbeknown to us, Grammie was ill and went to the hospital. Upon her release, Grammie returned home and returned Faith’s call. Faith visited her spreading hope, love and lots of warm hugs. This touched Grammie’s heart.
In April 2022, Grammie passed away from cancer and Faith was devastated. Grammie’s memory will always be cherished as Faith remembers fond memories with her.
